Yesterday, 151 Wyndford Road: Stepping into the high flat’s foyer from the stairwell, I was met with "wet floor" caution placards, the pale grey floor tile decorated with a trail of large blood drops and splatter leading from the entryway to the lift, and a maintenance man with a mop and bucket.
I said, "Good morning,” quickly followed by "Whoa."
The maintenance man said, "A better morning for some," and smirked then resumed his mopping.
